HISTORY ​​​

The Cleaning Artists was founded in 2017 whilst Jess was studying Fine Art at University. Having worked as a housekeeper in the hospitality sector whilst building a small client base over the years, and recognising the lack of flexible job opportunities for women in the city, The Cleaning Artist was born. The concept was to provide an exemplary, eco-friendly cleaning service that was ethical through and through.  

We have seen many wonderful Cleaning Artists through the years and through panics and pandemics and many logo changes provided a real living wage to our team members and left countless homes sparkling without the need for toxic chemicals.

 

PRESENT

Boasting a combined cleaning experience of 16 years, we are still continuously developing our practice to be as effective and efficient as possible, using only premium, hand-selected products and techniques developed with our extensive knowledge of cleaning.

With the benefit of our experience, we have evolved into a company of just two, so we can have standards as high as possible.

 

BEHIND THE OVERALLS

We take cleaning really seriously and treat every home as a project, but we are also two very vibrant chatterboxes who will be laughing as much as we are scrubbing!

We are cleaning artists because we both have art backgrounds- Jess (me, hi!) in Fine Art and Becky is currently studying her Master's in Art History. 

Homes are our most important visual experience, and cleaning is not that dissimilar a process to the creative arts. Your home is the gallery of your life, and the one you have to look at and live in every day, and we promise to make it a masterpiece.
